I’m married and we have a daughter named Brekka. My favorite foods are pizza, German foods, and pretty much any kind of soup. I LOVE Grey’s Anatomy (I’ve watched all seasons on Netflix at least 3 times). In my free time I like being outside, riding horse, camping and boating.

I absolutely love working here! It’s amazing to see Patients every day and get to know them, I love talking with them.

Any funny or heart-warming stories to share?
It’s really fun to meet Patients at their initial consultation, but the best is to see how bright their smiles are when they finish their treatment!

Our great doctors and staff. We have such a warm, upbeat atmosphere. You can really tell that everyone cares and loves what they do.

GRIN BOOSTER

Daily job activities:
I assist the Doctors is adding, removing and adjusting braces. I also assist in taking x-rays, photos, impressions and help keep the office clean and the instruments sterilized. Invisalign has become a big part of our office so I also take iTero scans, add attachments, insert aligners and assist with checkups. Patient education, answering questions, updating Patient chart notes and scheduling appointments is also a big part of my day, as well as correspondence with other offices or the Invisalign lab. Working with a Patient in my chair is my favorite but there is a lot of behind the scenes work that is done at all times too!

How about life outside of work?
I’m a country girl. I grew up on a ranch and spent many days on a four-wheeler or in a tractor. I now live in town, but love taking my kids out to the farm whenever I can. I have an awesome husband, Garrett, 2 busy daughters Adley and Mayzee, and a house dog named Bogey! I love doing craft projects, gardening and baking when I catch a free moment. Road trips and camping are both things I love to do with my family. We try to be outside as much as we can!

What is your favorite part of working at Warford Orthodontics?
I love seeing the before and after photos and noticing the change in our Patients confidence as their smiles improve. Some of the things we accomplish still amaze me, even after working here for years. Getting to know our Patients and their families during their treatment is my personal favorite. When a Patient feels comfortable and at home in our office, I know we are doing our job well and accomplishing more than just the great smile they leave with!

Any funny or heart-warming stories to share?
Too many to pick just one, but I love when a new, young, nervous Patient turns into a confident ball of fire by the end of their treatment. Watching them grow is amazing! I also love hearing the stories from our adult Patients who are FINALLY doing treatment. The excitement and gratefulness they express makes our job all worth it.

What makes Warford Orthodontics different?
Staff experience and care. We are all very knowledgeable in the dental field and we accompany that with a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. We treat our Patients like they are our family and I am proud of that.

Any funny or heart-warming stories to share?
When a Patient had her braces removed, she was missing a cuspid and I made a pontic retainer for her. She got tears in her eyes because she could not believe how real it looked to have that tooth in her mouth.

What makes Warford Orthodontics different?
The friendly staff! They are always willing to help the Patients and work around their schedules to accommodate them. There are fun things for the Patients to do inside and outside of office. And the complimentary X-rays, exams and second set of retainers set us apart as well.

I married a great guy from my hometown of Turtle Lake in July of 2018. We enjoy hunting and just being outside. My favorite is to be at the lake relaxing on a boat or floaty with a good book. My favorite food is strudel with cream and potatoes (it’s a German dish). I like to watch Disney movies and listen to country music. In my free time, I enjoy doing anything artistic like painting, sewing or a Pinterest craft!

What is your favorite part of working at Warford Orthodontics?
I love working here. What makes me tick is just seeing the Patients change through treatment. When they come in, you can tell that some of them are really unsure about their smile. Then at the end of treatment they love their new smile and love showing it off. I love just knowing I helped to change that!

Any funny or heart-warming stories to share?
I still love the time that Denise lost her glasses and we looked and looked for them and we finally found them, they were on the face of her Patient! We all still laugh about that story to this day.

SMILE STYLIST

Daily Job activities:
We are very busy on a daily basis, from braces & Invisalign to sterilization and everything in between.  We see anywhere from 60-80+ Patients a day, making the days go very fast!

How about life outside of work:
My husband, Scott and I, share a home in Bismarck with our 2-kids, Mason 4, and Emelia 2, Fancy, a German Shorthair pointer, and Axel, our Great Dane, or Great Pain depending on his mood! We enjoy outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, and spending weekends in the summer camping. When I am not chasing kids or dogs, I enjoy going for a nice long run. I’ve run several half marathons and will be running my first full marathon August of 2019!  I enjoy repurposing “junk” and making it new and beautiful again in its own rustic way. I like to think I have a green thumb, but I really don’t. I love plants and flowers but usually they don’t last long, so I have found a love for succulents!! They don’t require a lot of maintenance! My favorite food is taco’s. I could eat them for all meals every day.

What is your favorite part of working at Warford Orthodontics:
I enjoy the variety of work we do. Orthodontics is just amazing. I also enjoy working in the “circle.” We have a very fun team which makes work enjoyable. I love seeing the transformations, and the difference we make in peoples’ lives.

Any Funny or heart-warming stories to share:
I love when a parent that had treatment here many years ago, brings their child in.

What makes Warford Orthodontics different:
I think it is SO COOL that we are the only orthodontic office in ND, SD, Western MN and MT that is a Top 1% Invisalign provider, and in order to get the same level of treatment and expertise, you would have to go to the cities, Denver or Seattle! We have this opportunity right here in Bismarck!! Because of this, we get to see several Patients from other cities and states.

Jill

DIRECTOR OF SMILE TRANSFORMATION

Daily job activities:
I get the privilege of meeting with all the new Patients and their families that are coming in for their initial consult. I help capture photos, x-rays, a 3D scan and document Dr. John’s findings and recommendations. I help answer any questions Patients have regarding treatment and help coordinate communication between them and their dentist.

How about life outside the office?
I am a busy mom, wife and business owner! My husband and I operate a chiropractic clinic in Bismarck. I have 2 daughters and 1 son all ages 6 and under. I love spending time with my family. We have a tradition of spending time every June in the Black Hills area with our kids and have made so many fun memories. I enjoy cooking and baking and do a good job of making a mess while doing it! My favorite food is chicken kabobs with fresh grilled pineapple served over rice and homemade pizza! I love coffee! I grew up in a small town in Western, ND which happens to be 14 miles from the Theodore Roosevelt North Unit. I enjoy getting back there to hike and camp and love taking my family to Medora each year. In my free time, which is far and few between these days, I enjoy taking pictures, going to the movies, and shopping!

What is your favorite part about working at Warford Orthodontics
I’m a people person so I love visiting and getting to know people and their families. I’m also proud of the fact that I feel my job isn’t just a job. I love that I have the privilege to be a part of a life changing transformation with our Patients. I also get to work with a pretty amazing group of co-workers.

Any fun or heart-warming stories?
I love the excitement of kids when they can get their braces on the same day as their consultation! Many times, they are so excited that they stop back by my office on their way out to show me their braces and the colors they chose. I also love meeting with Patients who were told by other providers that Invisalign would not work for them and see their demeanor change when Dr. John tells them that Invisalign ABSOLUTELY will work for them!

What makes Warford Orthodontics different?
I truly feel that we provide care in a way that we treat everyone as if they were our own family. Our staff is extremely talented at what they do and is genuine in getting to know our Patients as well as their families.

Terra

DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

I coordinate insurance benefits and find ways to make treatment affordable for nearly every budget.

Kari

DIRECTOR OF SMILE TRANSFORMATION

Daily job activities:
I get to see many of the new Patients, helping them understand about braces and Invisalign and educating. There is never a dull day!  I get to do lots of other things too!

How about life outside of work:
I love to do anything active–and be outside! Summer or winter you will find me figuring out how to be outside. I also love to garden and cook and make up healthy recipes

What is your favorite part of working at Warford Orthodontics?
I absolutely fell in love with “Preventive Medicine” in dental hygiene school. This passion flows into why I love being a part of the WO team–I see so many dental issues that we can help side-step or make right.  It is very fulfilling. I love meeting new people and helping them feel comfortable and welcome.

Any funny or heart-warming stories to share?
Some days we see clients who are a little anxious about what treatment is going to feel like…  One day, I was helping an older Patient with his treatment and he was joking with me that he was anxious.  I offered to hold his hand during his braces removal (because of course I’ve held hands with many kids over the years). We laughed pretty hard because of course he didn’t need any hand-holding.  Now every time he comes in for a checkup, I have to go hold his hand for a second or two.

What makes Warford Orthodontics different?
Before I moved to Bismarck, I worked in a private dental office.  Over and over I would see Patients that were in active orthodontic care have SUCHPHENOMENAL results when being treated by WO.  “Out-of-the-park-home-run” were the results I would see time and again. I didn’t see that from any other orthodontist. It made me take notice–and now I get to be part of the magic!

Nicole

WEAR COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Daily job activities:
I do many things throughout the day which include iTero scans and providing care instructions for Patients that are starting as well as those actively in Invisalign treatment. I adjust braces, take photo records and prepare Patients for x-ray. Overall, I make sure Patients in treatment have the best experience possible!

How about life outside of work:
I am a very busy Mommy to a 5-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl. We have 2 dogs, 2 fish and a cat so our house is pretty much a zoo and never lacks excitement or entertainment! We are a split Vikings and Packers household which causes some friendly family banter. I enjoy cooking, digging in the dirt and watching my little peoples’ activities.

What is your favorite part of working at Warford Orthodontics?
I absolutely love the busy pace, watching Patient transformations, getting to know our Patients and seeing them excited about what we can do for them.

What makes Warford Orthodontics different?
Warford Orthodontics is truly a wonderful place to work! Our environment is supportive, compassionate and fun. I couldn’t ask for more. We are the best of the best.
